Although we would like to try the latest lotions, facial doses and the like, there is something to be said about the use of products on the face that are more friendly with Mother Nature (especially for us with extremely sensitive skin). With that in mind, we chat with all the natural skin care teachers and beauty experts Carola May with over 25 years of experience, as well as with her own skin care line, Dahliana. Carola shared eight easy ways to infuse some nature into her routine below.
1. Aging safely with antioxidants: start your anti-aging routine in the mid-twenties and consider it “age prevention.” Use powerful topical antioxidants such as resveratrol and quenzima Q10 daily under makeup and at night.
2.Mix aggressive products: Be sure to stay away from aggressive ingredients such as toxic retinoles and glycolic acids in your daily skin care routine. They tend to damage your skin, especially if your skin is exposed to sunlight, and can irritate sensitive skin.
3.Wash your face: Always wash your face at night to eliminate free radicals that accumulate your skin during the day of smog and dirt. The skin recovers at night and it is better not to absorb anything other than healthy ingredients.
4.Stay away from parabens: use natural and organic skin care products without parabens. These are the healthy options for your body: products that contain fillers and irritating chemicals have clearly proven to be an escape.
5. The eye cream is your best friend: the area under the eye works hard: freckles a thousand times a day! – Our lower eyes are fragile and require special care with efficient and high quality products. Try a product that contains malic acid from apple juice. It is a very light and effective scrub that helps extinguish dead skin in the sensitive area of the eyes
6.Read what you put on your face: always find out about skin care ingredients in exchange for following what you read or see about empty advertising promises. You will get excellent results through acoustic components, not just a beautiful bottle.
7.Also observe what you put inside your body: drink plenty of filtered water and eat a healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Cut sugars and carbohydrates for radiant skin.
8.Readjust your skin with a balanced mask: this mask is soothing, hydrated and peeled: mix half a banana with a quarter cup of oatmeal and a teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients, apply on the skin and lie down for 15 minutes. Remove with a cloth and rinse the face thoroughly with warm water. Oatmeal softens and moisturizes the skin, while the acids in the banana fruit help to extinguish dead skin and revitalize the skin. (Bananas are rich in vitamins C, A, B6 and B12, in addition to potassium and magnesium).
